Fairy Tai is an adventure and fantasy manga written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima, published for the first time on August 23, 2006 in the magazine Shōnen Magazine, of the Japanese publisher Kōdansha.

On October 12, 2009 the anime adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures and Satelight was released. A second season was produced from April 5, 2014 until March 26, 2016, containing 102 new episodes.

As you know, the series tells the adventures of the young wizard Natsu Dragneel and his talking cat Happy who travel together in search of the Igneel dragon, which Natsu declares to be his adoptive father, until one day they meet a girl named Lucy Heartfilia, a magician of celestial spirits. Throughout their search, they are responsible for fulfilling certain missions that are assigned in the Fairy Tail magic guild to which they belong, and at the same time they face other clandestine guilds that seek primarily the prestige and superiority over Fairy Tail.

Outside of Japan, Fairy Tail began publishing in the United States as of March 25, 2008.
